US Director Richard Linklater, the filmmaker behind 'School of Rock' as well as Oscar nominee 'Boyhood' has a history of making independent films that are also commercial.

His latest movie' Hit Man' stars Linklater's longtime collaborator Glen Powell as a college professor moonlighting as a fake assasin - and runs into trouble when he falls for a woman who tries to hire him.

The film, picked up by Netflix, was a word of mouth hit at last year's autumn festivals, and has been praised for the chemistry between Powell and his co-star Adria Arjona.
