Swindon based poet and singer Athena Aperta has uploaded a spoken word piece called 'Open Heart Surgery' that she says was written in about 7 minutes using flow writing. It speaks of love and relationships and how the right love can be lifesaving, just like open heart surgery can be. Glastonbury based writer Jes Kerzen shares a chapter from her book ‘A Mind Beyond Words’. It’s the true story of how, as a very ordinary schoolteacher, her life was turned around when she was head-hunted by a 6-year-old autistic pupil who she has continued to learn from over the last 25 years. Pam Clifford from Bourton-on-the-Water has submitted a humorous story about a quiet village that has a monthly village ladies club and how one presentation talk goes a bit wrong for one lady.

Gail Foster from Devizes wrote a poem in 2022 for a dear friend who struggles to comprehend the world around him in the same way most would, because of his autism diagnosis. Frome based Lily Bell shares poetry about her observation of nature - "Where Are All The Butterflies?". Gabrielle Finnegan from Bath shares her empassioned spoken word piece 'Our Nation' that serves her opinion on recent discussions around race and identity and the make up of our nation. Bristol based Peter Hall is a composer who has created a soundscape inspired by the ocean and has used real recordings of oceans and shorelines to make his piece.
