The founder of World Afro Hair Day Michelle de Leon is urging parliament to bring in an Afro hair law to protect people of African and Caribbean descent. She wants to see these communities get a legal right to wear their hair naturally and in braided hairstyles. 2024 marks the 7th anniversary of World Afro Hair Day:
