Former UN diplomat Martin Griffiths says Israel's ban of the agency 'must be challenged'
Martin Griffiths says that Israel's decision to effectively ban Unrwa "is a new way to kill children".
Speaking to the World At One, the former Under-Secretary General for the Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Co-ordinator at the UN says "it's also a new way to take away hope from the Palestinians".
Israel says Unrwa staff have colluded with Hamas in Gaza, and claimed 19 workers took part in the Hamas attacks of 7 October 2023.
