Braintree chairman Lee Harding reveals 'administration' threat under Angelo Harrop
Braintree Town's Chairman Lee Harding says the club would have been 'in administration in the New Year' if they had not taken the decision to sack Angelo Harrop as first team coach in November. The board member told 成人论坛 Essex Sport's Warren Muggleton that Harrop had been spending 'significantly over-budget' on player wages since August in a bid to compete in the National League. Harding details several meetings which took place between Harrop and the board, where they told him the spending 'had to stop' following failure to advance from the FA Cup First Round. Harrop had 'difficulty' moving player budgets around, Harding said, and the 'serious' over-spend led to the decision to sack Harrop.
