In 1993, the Australian spinner made his Ashes debut with the delivery that made his name.

In 1993, Shane Warne bowled arguably the most famous delivery in the history of the Ashes 鈥 the so-called 鈥淏all of the Century鈥. On the first ball of his Ashes debut, Warne unleashed a leg break that spun so viciously it bamboozled England batsman Mike Gatting, the 成人论坛 commentary team and even his own wicket-keeper. The ball made Warne an overnight superstar and is credited with revitalising the art of spin-bowling. Simon Watts introduces the memories of Shane Warne and Mike Gatting.
