The three sisters who have had surgery to prevent breast cancer.
Earlier this year we interviewed three sisters and the response to that interview was enormous. Their story went on to appear in many of the national newspapers. Michelle King had been diagnosed with breast cancer and discovered that she had the breast cancer gene. Her two sisters - Joanne Kavanagh and Louise Lambert - also found out they had it. All three sisters decided to have preventative surgery to stop the disease – hysterectomies and mastectomies. They return to the studio, now that the surgery is all over, to tell us how they are getting on. Jenni is also joined by Professor Jane Maher from Macmillan CancerÌýSupportÌýto talkÌýabout life after breast cancer.
