Do they offer something different from their male counterparts?

Gerda Taro, who was killed in Brunete, Spain, during the Spanish Civil WarÌýis generally recognised as the first female war photographer. She wasÌýproclaimed an anti-fascist martyr andÌýburied in Paris on the day thatÌý would have been her 27th birthday.Ìý An exhibition ofÌýGerda's work is currently on show at The Barbican Centre and its curatorÌýKate Bush joins Jane, along withÌýÌýwar photographer Jenny Matthews,Ìýto talk about women’s influence on war photography.
