Communal living |

There are a number of communes remaining in Britain - long-established communities like Teepee valley in Wales, Old Hall in Suffolk and the Findhorn Foundation in Scotland.
There also seems to be a renewed interest in communal living, fuelled perhaps by TV experiments like Castaway, Survivor and Big Brother.
But what is life in these communes actually like? And do the women in the group always end up dealing with the household drudgery?
Sheila is joined by Big Brother's Elizabeth, Kay Kay, a member of the New Findhorn Association and Gwilym Gibbons - who grew up in a commune - and hated it. For further information please call the Radio 4 Actionline.
