Last week after nine days of intensive talks, Afghan groups meeting in Bonn signed a deal aimed at setting up a transitional government. As part of this deal, it was announced that the new government would include two female representatives.
By the time the new administration takes office in Kabul on December 22nd, the United Nations also hopes to have a multi-national peace keeping force in situ.
Jenni talks to Sarah Sharif, Deputy Editor of Muslim News, Lesley Abdela, former Deputy Director of OSCE Mission (The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe) and Humera Kahn, Director and Co-Founder of An-Nisa (which means 'the women' in Arabic).
They will be discussing how future peace keeping exercises can impact on the lives of Afghan women.
