Clarice Cliff may be a more familiar name, but the influence of her contemporary, the ceramicist Susie Cooper, has been just as profound.
Susie was one of the first women to design for and own her own company. In 1940 she become Royal Designer for Industry - the only woman to be given this honour.
As a new centenary exhibition of her work opens at the Wedgewood Centre, Jenni asks curator, Sharon Gater, whether Susie Cooper has had a lasting legacy.
