Ten Month Pregnancies Friday 24 January 2003
Medical guidelines suggest that a woman should be urged to induce if her pregnancy goes beyond 41陆 weeks. But what's wrong with waiting for nature to take its course?

Lizzie Enfield has had three pregnancies each lasting ten months, but only by the third did she feel confident enough to resist the pressure to be induced.

Lizzie Enfield, Dr Donald Peebles, Consultant in Foetal and Maternal Medicine at UCL Hospital and midwife Melanie Every, join Martha to explore the dilemmas.
