To develop the skills of African women MPs in representing their constituents, especially women and the disadvantaged, the British Council has developed a work-shadowing programme to pair them up with UK counterparts.
Rachel Schofield went to meet some of them on Day One of their week long trip, over lunch at the British Council in London.
