The fashion in garden design over recent years has leant towards pastel colours, so when the borders are in full bloom they're dominated by soft pinks, mauves and blues.
But in our series of summer sizzlers Corinne Julius has gone in search of some rather more robust colours to fill the borders with a spot of red hot passion.
