Ìý South Korean composer, Unsuk Chin 18ÌýFeb 2004 Ìý
The annual Grauermyer Prize is one of the most prestigious in classical music. It's awarded annually to a contemporary composer for a particular work and the winner gets $200,000 prize money and a huge amount of kudos.

This year's winner is the South Korean composer Unsuk Chin and the piece is her violin concerto which will have its UK premier at the Barbican in London on Friday and will be broadcast by Radio 3. She prides herself on creating work that's accessible even to the audience which fears modern music.

Unsuk Chin joins Jenni to hear more about her work.
