Do babies and small children need development checks?
A Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH)Ìýreport has recommended dropping screening tests for infants at 8 months, 2 years and 3 ½ years.Ìý Instead there will be a core screening programme with extra support for children in deprived areas. ÌýBut will this new service lead to children with problems, going undetected?
