Protesting over the number of women who take their own lives in jail
In the last month 2 women have been found dead in their prison cells -听it brings the total number of suicides of women in prison to 11 this year. There are fears that the rising death toll could even overtake last year's record of 14.
One woman is determined that these deaths don't go unnoticed. Pauline Campbell has vowed to demonstrate outside every prison where a woman dies. In January 2003 her 18-year-old daughter Sarah collapsed in Styal Prison, Cheshire, and died in hospital later that day. She appeared to have taken an overdose of antidepressants.
At her home in Cheshire, Pauline showed Claudia Hammond how her campaign has taken over her life.
