India begin their five-Test tour of Australia on 22 November.
It will be the first Test series between the two sides consisting of five matches since India’s 1991-92 tour of Australia, which the home team won 4-1.
India’s most recent tours of Australia took place in 2018-19 and 2020-21, with India winning 2-1 on both occasions.
Although both giants of the game, India are coming off their recent 3-0 loss to New Zealand on home turf and need to win four of the Tests against Australia in order to guarantee a place in next year’s World Test Championship final.
