England wicketkeeper-batter Jones joins Blaze for 2025
England wicketkeeper-batter Amy Jones has joined The Blaze for the 2025 season.
The 31-year-old, who has been capped more than 200 times for England across all formats, joins the Trent Bridge-based side after four years with the Central Sparks.
Jones' move sees her return to the East Midlands, having previously played for Loughborough Lightning - the side that was rebranded The Blaze and relocated from the Leicestershire market town to Nottinghamshire in 2022.
"It鈥檒l definitely help the transition being back with players and staff who I've known for a long time - and still play with in some cases," Jones
"I鈥檓 looking forward to being part of it and helping to bring more success to Trent Bridge in whatever way I can."
Jones - who was named Charlotte Edwards Cup Player of the Year in 2022 having ended the tournament as the top run-scorer - joins England team-mates Tammy Beaumont, Sarah Glenn and Nat Sciver-Brunt at The Blaze.
In total, there are now eight players at the club who previously played for Lightning.
Jones has scored more than 3,500 runs at international level and has nearly 500 dismissals across all three domestic formats.
She is currently playing for Perth Scorchers in Australia's Women鈥檚 Big Bash League.
