The Fife derby between Raith Rovers and Dunfermline Athletic had to be abandoned after a power failure at Stark's Park.

A floodlight problem delayed kick-off in the Scottish Championship fixture, while many supporters were locked out with turnstyles inoperable.

And play was brought to a half after 14 minutes, with no electricity in the stands housing the 4,000 fans.

With the lighting down, the scheduled 19:45 kick-off was deemed a safety risk.

"We had a fantastic support here, so it's really disappointing," Dunfermline manager Peter Grant told 成人论坛 Scotland. "We started quite well and we're all gutted."

Rovers manager John McGlynn added: "What can you do? We're instructed by the powers above us. There's no CCTV working and 500 fans outside.

"The atmosphere was great. Everyone was up for it and it's a massive blow on a special night. It's turned out a bit of a disaster really. The club has spent 拢250,000 putting in new floodlights, trying to improve the infrastructure."

Rovers later released a statement apologising for the abandonment, saying: "A full investigation between the SFA, SPFL, football club, stewarding company and Police Scotland is ongoing."
