Luke Williams says he is 鈥渇ed up鈥 with Swansea City鈥檚 failings in front of goal after their painful home defeat to Millwall.
Swansea dominated for long spells against the Lions but missed a number of opportunities to bring a halt to their goal drought.
But Swansea鈥檚 inability to find the right finish 鈥 plus some fine saves by Millwall goalkeeper Lukas Jensen 鈥 allowed Millwall to stay in the game.
Neil Harris鈥 team delivered a sucker punch in the 90th minute when Casper de Norre converted their first genuine chance of the game to clinch an unlikely win.
Swansea have not scored in five Championship matches, their longest run without a league goal since 1996.
鈥淚鈥檓 fed up with not being able to give you answers,鈥 said head coach Williams.
鈥淚 am fed up with not being able to give the fans what they deserve.
鈥淚 really like the group of players a lot, I really do, and I need to support them.
鈥淏ut yeah, it鈥檚 a difficult situation because there doesn鈥檛 seem to be a huge amount wrong, but there鈥檚 a lot wrong at the same time if that makes sense.鈥
Swansea are down to 17th in the table having failed to win in six league games.
They are the lowest scorers in the Championship, though they also have one of the best defensive records in the division.
鈥淚f we got hammered or couldn鈥檛 get a foothold in the game, that would be a different set of emotions. It鈥檚 more frustration because we are so close,鈥 Williams added.
There was a smattering of boos at full time after De Norre鈥檚 goal condemned Swansea to a first home league loss in 2024-25.
When asked about the response of some fans, Williams said: 鈥淚 am with them. I am completely with them.
鈥淚 haven鈥檛 got a single negative thing to say about the fans鈥 reaction, far from it.鈥
