Trampoline made its first Olympic appearance at the 2000 Games in Sydney.

Here is all you need to know about the sport at Paris 2024.

The trampoline competition will take place at the Bercy Arena in Paris on 2 August.

The women's qualification and final is from 11:00 to 13:30 BST.

The men's qualification and final is from 17:00 to 19:30 BST.

Scoring and rules in trampoline

Athletes perform a series of somersaults, bounces and twists on a rectangular trampoline, reaching heights of up to 10 metres.

The Olympic competition starts with a qualifying round for both men and women, with the top eight from both qualifying for the finals.

In qualifying, athletes can perform two routines, with the score for the best one counting.

In the final, athletes perform one routine. Scores from the qualifying round are not carried through to the final.

Each routine consists of 10 skills and scoring consists of marks for difficulty, execution and time of flight (time spent in the air) and takes around 20 seconds.

Who has won the most medals in Olympic trampoline?

China have won 14 of the 36 medals awarded, including four golds.

Great Britain have won two trampoline medals, with Bryony Page taking silver at Rio 2016 and bronze at Tokyo 2020.
