Coverage of the 2022-23 FA Cup season gets underway this weekend, and we will be LIVE from Marlow FC as they play host to another local side Thame United in the FA Cup preliminary round this Saturday 20th August as part of 成人论坛 Sport鈥檚 early round coverage.

Marlow compete in the Isthmian League South Central Division and boast the most entry鈥檚 in the competitions history, first taking part in the FA Cup in 1871 and not missing a season since. They even contributed to the cost of the original trophy, their highest place finish being the semi-finals in 1882, more recently making it through to the third round proper in 1993 where they lost to Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs then made their way to the semi-finals where they lost to Arsenal, the team who went on to lift the trophy that season.

Thame United of the Southern League Division One Central are one of Oxfordshire鈥檚 oldest clubs, and Mark West has been at the helm for over 15 years making him one of the longest serving managers in non-league football. He has been responsible for the best FA Cup runs in the clubs history having twice reached the fourth qualifying round.

Football also promotes teamwork on and off the pitch, as many teams socialise together.

    • Futsalis similar to five-a-side, only played with a smaller, heavier ball. It places greater emphasis on individual skill and ball control, and is popular in both Brazil and Mediterranean Europe.
