Leek carol service

We hosted our first carol service at All Saints Church, Compton in Leek on the evening of Wednesday 10th December 2008.

Members of the public joined over 100 performers including the Phoenix Choir, Young Phoenix Choir, All Saints Choir and the winners of the 2008 成人论坛 Radio Stoke Songs From The Aisles competition for finest congregational voice, Leek Salvation Army (pictured right).

成人论坛 Radio Stoke's Leek and Staffordshire Moorlands reporter, Ros Chimes, gave a reading alongside representatives from Churches Together in Leek.

Stoke Minster carol service

Our second carol service was held on the evening of Sunday 21st December at Stoke Minster in Stoke town centre.

The guest preacher for the evening was the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Birmingham, the Most Reverend Vincent Nicholls. 成人论坛 Radio Stoke's Breakfast Show crew Pete Morgan and Katie Martin also gave readings as they joined hundreds of local carolers for the hour long service.
