But the place would be nothing without its people, and that's why we're asking for your memories and stories for our local history section. Do you have a memory you would like to share? Did you work on the docks? Or do you have experiences of the county's interesting military past? Maybe you can remember going to the Gaumont Theatre in Ipswich, or the Claremont Pier in Lowestoft back in its glory days?
