KS1 and KS2 English Activity Suggestions
- Pirates from the Past: Explore the exciting tales of famous pirates and write biographies about the ones pupils find most intriguing. Learn about their pirate-y lives and share with other pupils.
- A Day in the Life of a Pirate: Pupils could imagine their day as a buccaneer and write down all the grand adventures they'd have on a pirate ship. Record their tales in a ship's log and let their imagination sail the high seas.
- Design Your Pirate Flag: Pupils could create their own pirate flag. Use coloured paper and pens to make symbols that represent their daring pirate spirit. Remember: skulls, crossed swords, treasure chests, waves or a Jolly Roger are classic choices so why not come up with creative ones of your own?
