All was quiet, then just as we feared, everything changed as it quickly appeared.
It came from below and it tore through my girl,
shrieking and howling as it entered our world.
More frightened and scared than we'd ever known,
we jumped on the bus and it came with us home.
It sucked and it fed, draining us clean.
It cried out for more and it started to scream.
It got bigger and louder as it ate more and more.
It pooed on my shoes and was sick on the floor.
Now it's taking my money, it's stopping me sleeping.
At midnight, it wakes sobbing and weeping.
I wanna see mates but none of them know.
It's taken me hostage and it won't let me go.
I'm tired, I'm grumpy and I'm not feeling good.
And I love it more than I ever thought I could.
