Jack first became interested in carving back in 1977 when a gentleman, who was a regular at his local pub, came in one day holding a beautiful walking stick. Jack took an interest, and after that he bought his first set of chisels and carved his first walking stick. Since then he has become more ambitious carving rugby shields, a walking stick stand and much more. He has even won numerous trophies for his work at the Royal Welsh Show.
