How can football fans influence the way football is run?
The debate about Fifa continues - and it's clear from the volume of comments and calls to yesterday's programme that this is a topic many of you feel passionately about.
The President of the world football body, Sepp Blatter, faces re-election - unopposed - on Wednesday. Despite allegations of corruption, concern about transparency and the suspension of two senior figures, he insists there's no crisis.
There are growing calls for the election to be postponed, coming from the English Football Association and others. What do you think? Should sponsors use their influence? Whatever they think, how can fans make their voices heard?

@成人论坛_whys Being a minority is something you can't change, smokers can choose to quit, ergo smokers are open to discrimination

Smokers are not a minority, they are addicts. The idea that they are being discriminated against is absurd. It鈥檚 like says heroin addicts are a minority. --Jennifer in Newport Beach, CA

The argument that ppls livelihood dependant on industry is ludicrious. Millions of ppl depend on the narcotics and illegal weapons industries. Personally i think cigs should be slolwly phased out of supermarkets. Problem is supermarkets make a fortune on fags. Shorty from cape town

Tobacco use drives up healthcare costs and lowers worker productivity. It would benefit all humans to reduce tobacco use.

Health-wise Smoking may be terrible and nutrient wise tobacco is nightmarishly consuming; however what people are willing to pay, consume, and use is their own decision. They will pay their prices for what they enjoy and the cigarettes do bring in a large amount of money for the governments.

@成人论坛_WHYS if someone chooses to smoke, it doesn't bother me, but I don't feel I should have to pay for their healthcare.

The corruption goes on way long to the national football associations. Blatter should understand that their is no monopoly in leadership and give a chance to new innovative brains to clean his mess.</p>

All these MPs joining the Blatter out brigade is one thing. Only the actual football associations can implement change at FIFA.</p>

Well as Useless Sepp says, it's all a family. So if a worldwide petition was started by the fans FIFA would have to listen. But when corruption investigates corruption, there is only 1 outcome, and YES you guessed it: Everything is fine and there are no problems within the 'FIFA Family'</p>

I have a feeling that FIFA's dirtier than we think. How can there be elections considering there's only one candidate? Sponsors worried.</p>

It mkes me sick. Corruption is everywhere, even in a body that's suppose to unite the world. They are creating division, can't they see that?</p>

FIFA cannot halt its functions just because the FA has issues with it. The FA need to get over their ego.</p>
