It has been announced that the screenwriter, director and actress Kay Mellor has died aged 71.
Kay Mellor was always a great supporter of 成人论坛 Writersroom and chaired our 2016 TV Drama Writers’ Festival where she spoke about the importance of new writers and the need for resilience and determination.
After her on-stage interview we caught up with Kay and discussed a whole load of stuff ranging from tips for anyone looking to break into the industry, right through to her early experiences bringing the fantastic Band of Gold to our screens over twenty years ago.
