Purpose of good packaging design
When searching for something new it is often the packaging which will draw attention to the product first.
The best packaging is visually appealing. It also needs to provide information about the product and protect it from damage.
Branding
A brand is a name, design or symbol, or some other feature which identifies a particular company or product.
Branding is an important part of packaging design because it is a really good way to bring a variety of products together whilst also making the design recognisable to the consumer.
