Preparing for rafting

We are now back in Cusco for a rest day before we begin our descent, tomorrow we leave at 4.30 to start two days of white water rafting on our way to Ayacucho. I'm very excited about this.
Filming has been challenging. In addition to the physical challenge, the conditions make things much harder than normal - an almost incessant wind has made recording clean sound a great challenge, and the altitude has meant that certain pieces of equipment simply wont work, for example my hard disk recorder. Both Matts have lost their MP3 players to the altitude so I have not risked turning on the hard disk recorder - our main backup for sound. We will have to save it for the jungle and hope that nothing goes wrong in the meantime.
