My (over) stretchy dress

I should have know what was coming when Rob praised my long black dress with its pattern of colourful flowers. He had a vision and he would not let go of it. Saturday the 5th, the first day of Carnival, Laura and I spent a couple of hours looking for accessories for our boys to wear. We, "the English", and especially Bruce had to impress.

Trying to find female high heel sandals in a small Brazilian town is not a hard thing. From Rio to the Amazon Brazilian gals love their heels and skimpy outfits -the problem is that none of them are size 40 and up鈥o, we were laughed at everywhere we asked for a huge pair of sandals and we were not very successful on the earrings front either.
We did find a lovely blue mini-dress for Pete with a little crown for the head and a pink mini for Bruce in case he wanted to have a different outfit. But Rob refused to wear the green dress bought specially for him. He had his eye on my flowery number and nothing would change his mind. He promised his waist was not much wider than mine and I have to admit, combined with the blonde long wig, it was a winning outfit. I might never wear the dress again but who cares, I kept the short green one.
