    Friction's Top Five Tracks
    1. Tigerstyle - Son Of A Sardar (Immortal Productions/Soldier Sound Recordings)
    2. Unique Sounds Roadshow feat. Surinder Shinda & Minus P – Jagga (Remix) (Babycamp Records)
    3. Sudha – Living By Numbers (White)
    4. Davut Guloglu – Katula Katula (Destan Muzik)
    5. Timbaland feat. MIA Come Around (Mosley Music)

    The Tigerstyle track is number 1 as Ive never heard 'Sikh' music sound like this before. There are many Islamic musicians and artists out there talking about religion and identity - but this is the first powerful & explosive piece of music I've heard from 2nd Gen. Sikhs. Kanwar (the rapper on this track) has done a work of almighty beauty.

    The Unique Sounds Roadshow track is in there as its a Brit Bhangra track with a Grime & Electro attitude, whilst Sudha (part of the band Faithless!) is number 3 becuase her track is sublime and emotional. She's doing electronic music with a soul (an Asian Soul..)

    Davut Guloglu (which i picked up in the Turkish Super Market on Soho Rd!!) is number 4 as its almost like a Turkish/Arabic version of Mundian To Bach Ke....He screams all the way through like Ranjit Main and the strings in the track sound like Gypsys dancing in an Arabic Heaven!

    And last but not least the Timba and MIA track is number 5 as its way leftfield and highly addictive.
