Like all bullies Danny probably suffers from huge insecurities and his only way to connect with the world is to be a verbal and/or physical thug. So is he a candidate for Matt's killer?..possibly, although it's a bit too obvious.

I always found the best way to deal with bullies was the headlock they don't really expect it, plus it's not hitting so they can't tell on you or at least call on their mates to attack you.

ITA that he's not our killer. Most bullies are cowards underneath. Not that this isn't true of an awful lot of killers too, but in this case... Nah. Just a kid with issues.

I have to agree with 4 - very impressed with this on-line version of Being Human; amazing what you can cram into a 12 min episode, and the rest of the posts are just adding to the building backstory. Certainly fills the long weekly gap between episodes of Being and Becoming Human.

As for theories... what about the PE teacher in the first episode? it's a bit of a long shot, I know...

I don't think Danny is the killer either. I think that maybe the werewolf that turned Christa killed Matt. Maybe not at the same time, like what happened with George being turned. But, it would explain why Matt was following Christa for no reason if she's not the killer. Which she still, inadvertently, might be.

I'd like it if Danny turned out to be some evil something or at the very least got scared out of his wits/killed off. He didn't do it. Only victims have enough balls to actually do something like that but I'm betting he saw something or knows someone who saw something.

He's a immature little kid, kids aren't capable of murder. It's easy to notice if you see how his face changes after he makes the big announcement that he "runs dis school", it changes from full on serious to "lets have a laugh and play B-ball innit". Enough said?

dont see it being Danny, like most have said, he is thick, but not a killer. might have been a teacher though ! Gym teacher pushing Matt to hard, or Matt found out about a teacher's fling with a student and they pushed too far and accidentally killed Matt ?!?!?
