I really don't think that it is Swan

Adam won't kill him but even if it is Swan I think they will just scare him and make him paranoid like Annie, George and Mitchell did with Owen besides who is going to believe him if he tells anyone?

I love Adam as an anomaly who's been around all this time but apparently never killed, and really don't want that to change any time soon. But I do sense a close call coming on.

I'm still tempted to say Roe, but only because he's the only one never mentioned as a serious suspect. Which isn't a good reason. I'm pretty confident, though, that whoever it is, we'll all be going "Oh, of COURSE!" And the motivation, etc. will have been staring us in the face all along...

but..if the janitor was working with swann, why didnt he just clean the toilets?

This is a lot to think about as well as if he was to kill - I believe he will slip just not next episode. If there's a series he'll slip[ there. How will that affect the group dynamic?

After all in being humanthey all knew Mitchell had a past but when it was revealed he had a present as well that was when the wheels came off.

My money is on the janitor's activities being coincidence -- locking them in the gym simply because it was time to lock it and he didn't know they were there, etc.

It would be interesting if he even pulled the tapes for some other reason.

8. Ewan, ITA. I suspect it'll be a closer call than with Brandy, but for him to actually go through with it would be a FAR bigger can of worms than this show is structured for at this point.

A close call will give our intrepid teen trio MORE than enough vampire drama to deal with for future stories.

I can't watch it because i'm sneaking on during school but does it just talk about what they already know about the killer and that they think it is mr. swan?

15 - that's why I'm thinking if there is a series. It will end up dark no matter what it is just if it#s to be believable then it has to go dark at least once.

Taking your point however maybe toned down to nearly killing someone and having to cope with that fallout.

13 (Claire) - Ah, but is he following them? Or does it just seem that way? I'll bet if you pulled out footage of some other random students it might seem like he was following them too, just because he's always around doing his job.

As for the missing tapes, my first thought is that there's something wrong with them because the killer messed with the cameras or the recording setup, and they've been pulled to figure out why. It may very well be that adult authority figures have their own investigation going on (not thinking that someone was killed, just maybe that the school was broken into or something) that the kids know nothing about.

Playing detective has made our heroes even more self-conscious and likely to assume things are All About Them than we normally are as teenagers. I can totally see them getting worked up about the janitor for that reason, and have it turn out that he doesn't even particularly know they exist.

OOOH. Could Adam actually kill Swann though? I'm not sure if vampires are extra strong in BH. I mean Mitchell seems to be able to hold people up off the floor by the neck with one hand (Seth, when trying to get Lauren back off the vampires), and John Cooper lifted Nancy up with just one arm in ep. 7, however their strength is never mentioned, and they do not show signs of it in other circumstances

29 - CatOnKeyboard, VERY interesting point! Lauren lifting the much larger George up against the alley wall goes on that list too. They're not ridiculously superhumanly strong, but definitely stronger than you'd expect from looking at them.

Maybe just enough to make mousy little Adam more or less an even match with a much larger man who beats up heavy bags on a regular basis? I don't think we'll actually see Adam try to feed from Swann and get pummeled for his trouble, but it's certainly a viable mental image!

45 - Claire, I haven't tried anything but italic and bold, and wouldn't particularly want to, as it would start to look messy/tacky. Most sites of this kind limit it to really basic formatting tags like that and disable the rest.

Also why the Preview button is handy: If you try something you haven't done before, you can check what it looks like first. :-)

Ok here we go, I am officially CALLING IT

Its not Swan (I will be irritated if it is) Its Roe.

He is the one character who has not been properly investigated (except by the people on here). Swan has been stiched up, no killer would leave evidence lying around where, if it was discovered would directly incriminate them. QED: Sombody is tryin to pin the blame on Swan, a sombody who hated him enough to go to extreme measures for revenge.

The one thing that gives me pause for thought is the mention of a cliff hanger. This indicates that the story isn't just going to nicely wrap up with the killer being brought to justice ect ect.

There are only two potential cliff hangers I can think of, but then if you really want a second series (OF COURSE I DO) im sure there are LOADS the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ could dream up.

1) Our trio firmly believe they have conclusive enough evidence to make a case but somehow they have been outsmarted by the killer who has taken emergency steps to cover their tracks e.g. locking them in the gym was a pretty extreme measure considering thats where the body was, if Christa had killed Adam then the appearence of another body (A missing person) could easily have been tied to her. What else might have happened?

2) Whoever the killer is gets violent in an attempt to escape and badly injures one of the main characters. 'Badly injures' could also be replaced with 'kidnap' and 'blackmail' to prevent the truth about the murder being revealed.

Swans face IMO in the preview of EP8 adds creduality to this theory: He genuinly looks utterly confused and taken aback about having a body brought to his attention. Either that or hes being VERY sneaky.

Was reading kira's fanfic and it gave me a thought. What if it was George or Nina that attacked Christa? I hope they meet up in the new series. I've liked Adam, Christa and Matt and wouldn't like to think we wouldn't see them again after Sunday. Losing Mitchell was bad enough.
