All stations go for the show...Rampant Rajni took the weekend off to go to a wedding while Captain Sheetal Massi and Sarky Shabnam were all aglow as they were finally happy that their long flowing black locks were no longer frizzy - talk about hair rising! Last weekends' shows were all the bits you didn't hear on the live broadcasts and what was going on backstage and Billi Rani decided to forgive us for not taking her with us and deigned us with her purring presence. The worst thing about coming back and Loving Bollywood is that sometimes we have to watch some turkeys! And boy were they turkeys - we hot footed it to wonderful Wood Green - it was easier flying to Bangkok -Ìý to catch 'Summer 2007' and 'Mere Baap Pehle Aap'...aaaaaaaaaaaaargh 6 hours of mind numbing boredom - three people and us for 'Summer 2007' and a disappointed semi full house for 'Mere Baap'. The highlight of the screening was the delicious smell of samosas and pakoras that people had sneaked in...After the show we got suited and booted - The Cobden were holding their annual members party, the theme being Studio 54. Had a blast in all our glamtastic early eighties gear and felt like we were in the first half of OM SHANTI OM.

All set to watch 'De Taali' this week - hope it'll live up to the hype although Ayesha Takia has been raving about it...Raj is going to be busy as his friend arrives from monsoon struck Mumbai - everyone's coming to London - Selfridges sounds like downtown Bandra- and its Champagne all round - while Pablo is rushing around flat hunting -AGAIN!!

Looking forward to hooking up with Saif Ali Khan - he's in town filming and wants to chat about his next release Kunal Kohli's 'Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic'...Rani Mukherjee as NANNY MCPHEE!!....
