Oh What a Jolly, Bolly Time!

Raj&Pablo | 12:41 UK time, Sunday, 20 December 2009

Yo Ho Ho...Xmas is almost upon us - where has the year gone? We are rushing around frantically getting in the presents, foods and fire water as well as making sure we will be going to ALL the Christmas dos!

It's been fun this week on the shows - we love the new soundtrack to Chance Pe Dance - it's a winner and all the dance songs have got us in the festive spirit! You guys were on form in our tribute to Govinda who celebrates his birthday tomorrow. Tons of fans and a lot of detractors - he is like Marmite! For us he has been one of the sweetest people we've met - courteous, engaging and always game for a laugh. And a wee secret - we think Govinda's daughter has the potential of being a leading star! Do have a look at our interview with him from this year's IFFAs on the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Asian Network.

You can also listen again to our tete a tete with one of the leading Bollywood photographers Atul Kasbekar - he's shot everyone who's anyone in Bollywood - and we were lucky enough to get some shooting time with the maestro too! In our chat he divulges some of the tricks of the trade and tells us all about working with Amitabh Bachchan, Karishma Kapoor, Katrina and the divatastic Rekha.

Do have a great week leading up to Xmas - we have a special treat for you on the big day. Check out our Love Bollywood Xmas Day Special from 1-3pm. Highlights from the year including some amazing moments interviewing Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Zeenat Aman, Rani Mukerjee, Karan Johar, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor & Salman Khan. What a year it's been.

Til Christmas Day - A very Jolly Bolly Xmas to you and yours - hope Santa is good to you all!

I prefer more classic Christmas pop songs, "Last X-mas, I gave you my heart, and the very next day, you gave it away, this time, to save me from tears, I´ll give it to someone special..."(by George Michael)
