Little Man Tate - 'Sexy In Latin'
Has anyone else noticed these guys bringing their giddy tales of cocky teen life to the chart before? No? Ah well, if their last single or two didn’t grab you we’re thinking maybe this slice of hop, skip and jump indie rock is the one that will finally turn heads for them. Why? Because it's GOOD - duh!

You’ve got some staccato guitar strums, and a manly voice telling you a cute story of love and loss - but ultimately LOVE - and a bit of bonking on the stairs thrown in for good measure. What? I said it was cute, not 'suitable for a family audience'...sheesh!
In any case, there’s something strangely uplifting about this one. It isn’t exactly squeaky clean, feel-good pop, but it has the same effect of sorts. You know, where you suddenly get a second breath on that boring walk and try to quicken your pace enough to be in time with the music – yeah? Just me then?
These guys are helping to keep going the surge of sterling new sparky indie stuff that’s whoosing down upon us at the moment, which is good for us, good for them, and good for the COUNTRY, DAMMIT.
High five, EVERYONE!
Released: January 22nd
