Razorlight - 'Can't Stop This Feeling I've Got'
That Johnny Borrell, he's a right tricky character, ain't he? And he does love to play with our minds, like on this latest single here. 'Can't Stop This Feeling I've Got' is basically your good old fashioned love song, only instead of being in love with you, the listener, he's in love with that fella in his mirror, Johnny something...
As with any honeymoon period, it starts out all quiet and cute and fragile, making us feel sorry for him and want to give him a big hug because he's just so CONFUSED about love and stuff. Maybe his mirror is all steamy or summat. And then he goes all SHOUTY LOUD and just a little bit mental, when any fool knows all he needs to do is open a window.
Some other words that came to mind while listening to this track include: glittery, romance, simple, relentless (in the drumstick department), melancholy and sorrowful. All of which are feelings that should be fairly straightforward to stop, with the aid of a nice long walk in the fresh air. It's all about the endorphins, see?

This band is SO overrated, their latest album is a total rip-off and this song outlines a lack of writing skills. I don't know how many times they say the title name just to fill up space, and these pointless statements such as "I know what I am, and I what I'm not". BULLSH*T! If you don't know what you are you need help. Also, I am disapointed in the lack of structure to the guitar rhthyms, they seem to just pluck them randomly,do they even know how to play guitars? 'America' was an extreme case of this, however that was a good song, but it's becoming overdone. There album is a disgrace to the term no#1, how could their album reach no#1 when theres albums like 'The Fratellis - Costello Music' and 'Fall Out Boy - Infinity On High' which are crying out to be no#1. Razorlight have been cunning with the way they released media, they released a decent song, 'In The Morning', originally, then releasing there best song on the album, 'America', to get a no#1 under there belt. With these 2 song that caught the pubic's eye, naturally they thought the album would be just as good; those who still believe this are in denile. You saw their plan begin to fail in 'Before I Fall To Peices', as it only made it to 17. this song will flop like Henry VIII falling flat into the Thames, mark my words.
