The entire Top 40 is right here... |
After a couple of weeks where the No.1 position changed almost as often as the View change their pants, it's back to business as usual. Settle back and enjoy another long run at the top for Peter Kay's Comedy Song Rehabilitation Programme. Not that the Proclaimers song is a comedy song, you understand...
But that's not the most interesting thing that happened on the Radio 1 Chart Show this week, no. The MOST interesting thing that happened on the Radio 1 Chart Show this week was that Scott Mills, who is standing in for JK and Joel, is going to get his nails done, on the advice of Fergie 'Fergie Ferg' Fergieson. That's right...
Click to hear it happen, disbelievers...
Well, I say MOST interesting...some people may have found the fact that Ferg shamelessly name-dropped Justin Timberlake to be more of a thrill. And then there was Melanic C ringing in from GERMANY just to introduce her new song 'I Want Candy'...
Listen to Mel's telephonic shout-out...
I KNOW! Glamour or what? Er...anyway, some people are less excited by established acts making yet another chart entry and prefer to save their adrenal rush for when a new band makes their chart debut. Just like Air Traffic have this week with 'Charlotte'. So, if you're one of those people this is for you...
Listen to Chris Traffic's telephonic shout-out...
But you know...despite all this talk of interesting things in the Radio 1 Chart Show which do NOT involve JK and Joel from out of JK and Joel having what Scott Mills calls "a homo-erotic weekend" at Wrestlemania...well, maybe it's best if you listen to this before you make your mind up...
Yeah, WE HAVE A WINNER!
Comments
Isn't she named Stacey F. irl instead of Fergie F.
[Yep. But she called herself 'Fergie Ferg' in 'London Bridge' and I like that better. - Fraser]
