Save The Cheerleader
Today I followed the lovely Hayden Panettiere (Claire the cheerleader off of Heroes) outside when she left Radio 1 to see if I could save the cheerleader from the photo autograph hunting geeks. I failed.

Hello
I was Chris' guest today - hear what I thought of the team below...
Here are some other videos that have been made to Chris' new Cheesy Song!
Can you do better? post a comment below putting the link to your YouTube or MySpace video and we'll post them here!
Hello bloggers. Chris and the team are currently having a long weekend and will be back back tomorrow morning at 7am on Radio 1. In the meantime, here's an absolutely brilliant animation that was made by Popnoodles from YouTube. If you think you can made a video for the cheesy song - maybe you're singing, maybe it's puppets maybe it's even a little cartoon stick in on line and post the url as a reply to this blog and we'll get it up for everyone to see! Aled xx

Yay it’s the weekend, and not only that; it’s got a bonus day in the form of bank holiday Monday as well! That’s three days for the price of two for everybody except those that have got to work, and everybody in Scotland possibly.
Greetings and a good afternoon from the offices of the Chris Moyles Show. I hope you are having a nice day.
It's a big day for me today, I'm doing something very, very exciting....thing is I can't talk about it at the mo. Basically, it's a special project I'm working on for Radio 1 which you'l find out about soon. I'm thinking what I can tell you....
Hi there bloggerloggers,
I haven't blogged for ages it seems, so here I am now. I have some news that will literally blow your socks off (unless you're wearing sandals).
You may have heard Chris this morning reveal that for the 6th and final week of Radio 1’s 6 Weeks of Summer it’s us that’s going to Brighton! Yay! You may have also heard that we’re taking the Foo Fighters with us! Yay again!
If you wanted tickets to the uber exclusive Foo Fighters gig this Friday– tough, they’ve gone. They went up for grabs at midday and ran out minutes later. You can still hear it (obviously) on Radio 1. If you want to come to our Saturday indoor beach party then you’re in luck. You can register for a ticket and then if you’re picked at random we’ll see you there!!!
For those of you who won’t be coming to either the Foo Fighter’s gig or our Saturday indoor beach party then why don’t you express your frustration by devising ways of ruining the exciting weekend for us? You could do this by coming up with Life’s A scenarios to bestow on the various members of the team (excluding me of course!). In any case the others need some evilness as most of the suggestions on the show this morning were either aimed at me or involved other team members doing forfeits WITH me!
Just reply to this blog with your suggestions and I’ll send them via Chris and the rest of the team!
If you’re lucky enough I’ll see you in Brighton :)
Aled
xx
Six Weeks of Summer draws to a close as I write this. It's currently drizzling.
Radio 1 has been to Ibiza, Tenerife, Zante, Global Gathering and Mallorca, and now it's the turn of someone else. I wonder who it can be?

Hi. Long term listener, first time blogger here.
I'm Piers, the Exec Producer of the Chris Moyles show. I took over from Rhys - big boots (and bigger trousers) to fill.
You might remember me from such shows as Jo Whiley, Dave Pearce and if you are old enough - the Zoe Ball breakfast show (ask your mum and dad).
It's been about three months now, so I thought it was time to introduce myself properly...
Hello to everyone out there!! Its great to be back! I say that but then admit I am lying when it comes to getting up at 4 am every day!! Today was worse than yesterday so by Friday I reckon we'll all be talking jibberish! (Such a great word!)
To soften the blow of the second early start I had a fantastic present from Chris all the way from New York!! I was concerned that it would be something very rude that he had found - half expecting something dodgy to do with a cannon or something! But it was much better than that! A Captain Underpants Toy!!

Oh my god, i've been back a day and a half and think I have post traumatic stress already. Or should that be post toilet stress. Basically I got locked in the loo at work for 10 mins. Thankfully Laura from the Scott Mills Show saved my life.
PS - I used the mens loo as the blokes here always go to the ladies. We're very liberal here.

Hi,
Dave here with the first blog of the new season. As you will have no doubt heard on the wireless, I have at long last become a daddy. Jayne gave birth to our beautiful daughter Nicole on Thursday evening after 15 hours of labour, and she arrived in the world weighing a healthy 7 pounds 15 ounces. Here's a picture of them - Nicole is on the left:
