Wow 鈥 where do I start?
First the showbiz鈥 and my favourite Brits video:

Enough of that ungrateful speak 鈥 back to the showbiz鈥 and things I noticed in a random list:
Leona Lewis has some very old-people looking body cardies
Kylie is very small 鈥 no, even smaller than you think you know
Kylie鈥檚 face is flawless with no wrinkles but it doesn鈥檛 look fake at all!
Perez Hilton really does lose interest in you very quickly if he鈥檚 bored
Mika has larger teeth than you鈥檇 expect
Mika鈥檚 sister is very pretty and seems to be everywhere that he is
All the dancers that were used at The Brits were kept in a sort of 鈥渄ancers holding pen鈥 and were distinguishable in a clan-esque way only by the types of clothes they wore
Fearne Cotton has amazing legs
Rihanna got introduced to Paul McCartney for the first time at The Brits
Some members of The Klaxons REALLY can鈥檛 handle their drink
Kate Nash and her friend look very similar
Simon Mayo is unflappable
All the food and drink backstage at The Brits was free (or at least, I didn鈥檛 pay) 鈥 and their steak sandwich was to die for
and, it was Rihanna鈥檚 birthday yesterday.
Last thing - re Chris' birthday. Every Chris Moyles Show we make throughout the year are designed to allow you to dip in and out occasionally, maybe catching up on Listen again for the odd bit you've missed. Tomorrow's birthday show - is the only show in the year where that ISN'T the case! :)
There is a story beginning at 6:30 tomorrow morning and goes through the whole show building to a finale at 10 - so either listen to the WHOLE show tomorrow or if you can't Listen Again. Will it be worth it? Dunno. Will you laugh? Definitely

I only saw the beginning and end of The Brits, due to Torchwood being on in the middle! I love Rhianna & The Klaxons, it rocked.
Oh hell, you mean I have to get up at 6.30am?? Reckon I'll be taking advantage of 'listen again' eh?

I watch the Brits pretty much every year and so this year I wanted to comment on them too if that's ok!
Good bits - Rhianna was superb. I'm not into her music, or music like hers, at all really but I was very impressed with her. My favourite act(s) though was (were?) Mark Ronson and his collaberators. I thought Daniel Merriweather was very good. Well done him! Kaiser Chiefs were great and Leona was good but how many times have we seen her do that song now! Out of the presenters I liked David Tennant, Michelle Ryan, Will Young, James Nesbitt, Denise Van Outen and Andrew Lloyd Webber. And although they were ridiculously drunk I had to grin at the Artics. Kate Nash and Adele were good. Why wasn't Kate Nash performing?
Bad bits - I'm afraid there are loads of these. I tried to start with the good stuff but now I really want to vent! I thought the Brits were awful. Really truly awful. Let's start with Mika's opening. It was horrific. The texter on this morning's show was right when he said it sounded awful tonight but wrong when he said it sounded alright on the radio this morning. The guy couldn't even sing his own songs. Awful.
Then the Osbournes. I really don't understand the nation's obsession with them. Surely their TV show was so popular because they are so weird. I like Kelly and Jack but Sharon is just so over the top and Ossie hasn't got a clue what is going on. Kelly looked so lovely in that 'Before' pic she did the other week but why did she have her hair so short and her eyes so made up last night? Then Amy Winehouse. Oh my gosh! I feel so sorry for that girl. She looked manic. It was almost distressing to watch. She's gorgeous and so talented but sadly so messed up. I think the Rhianna/Klaxons collaboration only just about worked. Where have all the great Brits collaborations of the past gone? When they used to get together and do a great cover of someone else's song. It was so cool. Now it's done in a pointless way. Then most of the presenters were absolutely rubbish. Vic Reeves came over as an drunk idiot when really he's a comedy genius. Even our favourite Moylesy decided to take some of the limelight and go on for ages when all he was supposed to do was announce the nominees. But really my main beef was with the Osbournes. Ben Elton did it brilliantly, Chris Evans was great, Davina McCall and Ant & Dec are always good bets. Osbournes = car wreck tele. And let's go back to banning booze till the after show party. At least the speeches are coherent then (from the winners and presenters)
So it was a bad one really! Somebody was calling the Grammies boring to watch the other day on the Moyles Show but at least the Grammies think that music is a great thing rather than a chance to make some bad tele. Mind you almost everything ITV do is rubbish. The 成人论坛 would do the Brits really well like they do the Baftas!

Hi Aled - i'm a massive Kylie fan too! Her performance at the BRITs was awesome and she looked absolutely stunning as usual. I'm loving the video of Chris interviewing her and David.
I'll definitely be listening out for the Birthday show tomorrow, sounds like it'll be a great show.
