Dave, your thumb is amazing... i want one!! when i was little, i cut the top of my baby brothers middle finger in our back door and my dad went outside and picked up the bit that fell off..... how gross is that. Anyway i love your thumb, it's cool! :)

I have a deformed thumb on my right hand as a result of an accident involving a 3 ton metal bridge component crushing it against the headboard of a lorry whilst I was assisting in the loading of the bridge, it was completely re-built and was pinned together, to my shock the surgeon actually said he was considering removing it and replacing it with one of my big toes!!!! in total it took 9 months to heal and is a nightmare in the cold weather.

Actually Dave, now I've seen your thumb, I have to admit I can see why the team made a bit of a fuss about it but you don't have fat hands and it's good to be unique :)
