Keeping Cornwall Whole
Adam Killeya, Mayor of Saltash, emails with an update:
"We are holding a (cross-party & cross-Cornwall) 'Respect the Tamar' rally in Saltash on Jubilee Green at 2pm on Sunday 10th October to whip up Regional and National Attention for the Keep Cornwall Whole cause, just before it comes back to Parliament that following week. Can't promise, but will try.
"For the rally at Saltash we are expecting a turnout of 500 plus, with various speakers including me as Mayor of Saltash, the Grand Bard of the Gorsedd, the Chairman of Cornwall Council (all confirmed), as well as the MPs and others. we will also have music and probably a good old rendition of Trelawney!"Any help you can give in promoting this event, especially in the week just before the 10th, would be really appreciated.
"Members of Keep Cornwall Whole will also be parading down the Cornish border on the 8th and 9th of October, with stop offs at a number of towns and parishes, arriving at Cargreen on the evening of the 9th. Perhaps Radio Cornwall could also cover this on the 9th - with update on progress etc, to build awareness for the rally on the 10th."

You would need to add another three digits on the end to find the populace and if you add the population of Devon quadruple that figure. I will go on record now and say no more than 100 people will attend most will be children dragged along to fill a camera lens and as we all know it will change nothing and in the end only confirm how easy it is to walk over Cornwall thus weakening our position as ordinary people do not want to be associated with nats, even those who want to keep the borders as they are.
We have seen this before, in the end it only weakens us

This is not a "Nationalist" campaign, but a Cornish one, it is the hate you bare for those who hold different political opinions to you that keeps you bitter, and as this case clearly demonstrates, marginalised.
Check out those who support the "Keep Cornwall Whole" campaign, and see the cross party support that it enjoys.
How about turning up on the 10th, it's not that far from you, and, with your friend, Mr. Tregantle, hold a counter protest, you could even invite all the thousands of supporters you feel you have.

Gary has spent the last couple of years going around various sites, claiming that Cornish Nationalists "hate" the English. He claims that Cornish Nationalists are "hate mongers". That is his "gospel of hate". Read his post, it is hardly a message of peace and love.
In an attempt to "prove" his gospel, he insults any nationalist he can find, starting of mildly, and getting more and more abusive, until they snap and return an insult, this he then claims as proof. If anyone that stands up to his bullying, he then claims that they can not debate, "moot", and calls on everyone else to ignore them.

Depending on where you are in the world, you will find many who will argue that none of those you list are "oppressed", then again, depending on where you are in the world, you will find people who will argue they are.
But, I said that this campaign, the "Keep Cornwall whole" campaign is not a "nationalist" one. Yes, nationalists support it, but so do many others. Check out their website, I will not provide it here, as it seems that some web addresses cause your post to languish in cyber limbo, waiting for the god of moderation to decide if it is an acceptable one or not. But you can find it easily enough with most search engines. If you do check out their website, you will see that apart from a few Nationalists and nationalist groups, the vast majority of its supporters are "normal", It has cross party support, it has support from many different councils across Cornwall, and many different individuals.

In the first 3 days, the body is still using energy from glucose. After that, the liver starts processing body fat, in a process called ketosis. After 3 weeks the body enters in "starvation mode". At this point the body "mines" the muscles and vital organs for energy, and loss of bone marrow becomes life-threatening. There are examples of hunger strikers dying after 52 to 74 days of strike.
