BET Awards Cypher

Post categories:

Mistajam | 17:51 UK time, Monday, 22 October 2007

For the HipHop Awards, BET arranges a of some of the hot artists around at that time. This year round, one of the cyphers featured Wyclef, Twista, Lil Mama & our own Dizzee Rascal. Wyclef spits hot fire (Dylan would be really proud - Chappelle's show reference!!) but maybe I'm biased but Dizzee bodies this - it's the 'Big Beat' beat so why would I expect any less!!

What do you think? While you think about it check out 1Xtra's BET Awards coverage - Zena was sent to Atlanta and covered the event for the 1Xtra Breakfast Show.

Yeah, Dizzie held It down for UK for real. But you know Lil' Mama killed, talkin as a fan of Hip Hop, her energy & confidence was the most exciting, especially at her age, she showed alot to me, cos I expected to hear some bait rhymes, just from the impression I got from her Lipgloss tune. But still, everyone was hot. Shout out to Dizzy Diz for reppin' international. His lyrics are nice, and flow and voice still stand out. Respeck
