Agree with your winners & losers, but have to say it was one of the most boring races of the season. It may have all the bright lights but does not compare to Monaco or even Valencia for exitement. The track was the dirtiest of the season reducing the overtaking even more along with the "single track road" layout this year. Living in Cambridgeshire it compares to a dirty old fen farm road and if they keep the same layout next year it will be as exiting as watching a line of fully laden tractors going round in circles. I think the younger drivers are really going to struggle next year with the heavy cars with no refuelling, so this one will definitely be one to miss. The big highlight Jenson and BrawnGP again making more of the race than their qualifying represented and i think JB has pretty much cemented the DWC here. He only needs to finish in the points at the last races of the season and its goodbye Mr Vettle. Rubens will be down after losing out to JB and his team no. 2 paranoia will kick in and affect his performance. I am glad that KERS seems to be on it's way out because i can see going back to the bad old days of the kettle (turbo) cars and Atmo cars again, very very boring, where all the turbo's took top 6-8 postions then all atmo cars followed on, it ended up two races in one, pointless in todays f1. If they can move the track to the old Thomson Road circuit used in the 60's at least it could be developed into a decent racetrack, unfortunately i think they have tried to create an Asian Monaco, and in my opoinion, it has failed miserably. All negative comments over just can't wait for return of Suzuka next week, how exiting is that, what a cracking track i have really missed this race. Again it will be interesting how the younger drivers deal with the track, I think Mr Nakajima will make a good showing here and really give his team mate Nico something to think about. Good luck Jenson hopefully he will clinch the title here, or at least confirm a two horse race for Brazil, which will be an absolute stormer this year. All in all i think this season has been one of the best in a long time, with the drivers so close all season and varied teams successful at different track it's nice to see much wider competetion than in the early part of the decade. Looking forward to the next race and your next insight in all that is F1.

Its a shame that Lewis didnt have a car to compete at the start of the season, would have made for a better finish. That said he has thrown away a couple of podiums, Oz & Monza.

As for Toyota it seems light years ago that they locked out the front row!!!!

The review of the season will conclude that the pace of change thru the year was greatest of any F1 championship that I can remember.

Finish it off Jense and put us out of our misery!

Apparently Ferrari are talking about Massa coming back before the end of the season... Should he be allowed to step back into a race car at Brazil or Abu Dhabi with out any testing? Also how do you judge Fisi's comments at the weekend that if he could only have a days testing he would be able to get the best out the car?

i am in total agreement with FASTBBBB. not just predictions though, back with brundle for the rest of the season,legard is too keen to put drivers down, plus martin can't seem to get a word in edge-ways...lol

I agree with your comments about Renault and Brawn, Murray, great results for very different reasons.

I'd love to see Jens win the WDC at Suzuka - my favourite track - and another podium for Alonso, but I don't see that happening somehow!!

once again another well analysed race. It was indeed an interesting rather than an exciting race but was a great result for the Brits.
As a Lewis fan its just a shame the car was offn the pace for so long
Can't wait for Suzuka, its my favourite track, every kind of bend imaginable plus the fast flowing first sector is excellent!
