The 鈥 for want of a better phrase 鈥 play along with the TV test will be launched about an hour before the programme is transmitted tonight (9.00 pm). So I鈥檒l use this blog to plug heavily that you can participate on the web, on a mobile phone and on 鈥渞ed button鈥 interactive TV.
Looking forward to your comments tomorrow both here and Slugger. William should be back by then from his secret mission.

I posted last night, but my comments haven't appeared. Sorry if this thought now appears twice.
Wikipedia quotes a survey, done in 2003, which has 68% of protestants identifying as unionist, compared to 0% of catholics - 60% of catholics identifying as nationalist, compared to 1% of protestants.
Which ties in with what I was taught at QUB, many moons ago.
Given that, I can't see how agreeing with the statements 'Catholics are unlikely to be unionists' and 'Protestants are unlikely to be nationalists' shows tolerance or intolerance. It's not a matter of opinion, it's just true.
And yes, I'm aggrieved that I'm only 'slightly tolerant'...
I got a faster score for the "Protestant = Pleasant" round, but I reckon that could also be because it was the last part of the test. By the time you get to that section you are getting better because the previous rounds have acted as training.
I took the test I am pretty tolerant
Although slightly favor the prods according to them.
I think a lot has to do with the way you are brought up. I found the programme State of Minds: The Children very interesting the children interview mostly did not know the difference between Prod and Catholic except what they heard from the community they grew up in and yes their parents! so if you are brought up as a Protestant you probably will be taught British Politics and way of life and likewise if you are brought up as a Roman Catholic you probably will be taught Irish Politics and way of life. I think we need to skip a generation if all children were taught together and leave the Religion part to Churches I think N Ireland would be a better place and yes we would not need to take a test to tell us that!
What happened. Has everyone stopped posting?
