It's a blatant breach of his rights. The idiot pleaded guilty so there's not much that can be done now, but as far as I can see he did nothing wrong and I'd hope a good lawyer could turn it around and shame the jurisdiction that had the gall to arrest him for it.
BICYCLE RIGHTS! BICYCLE RIGHTS!
NO JUSTICE! NO PEACE!
WHAT DO WE WANT? ACTION!
WHEN DO WE WANT IT? NOW!
I'm getting sick and tired of bicycles being sexually abused and nothing being done about it. And it's happening to both men's and women's bikes, it's not a matter of bike gender discrimination but brute force exercise of power of some demented humans over poor defenseless bicycles. Before you know it they will lock bicycles up for no reason and even disassemble them...live. It's a disgrace and about time the government stepped in and did something about it, it's long overdue.
Equality for the Bicycles. I say we go on strike like the French did for their subways and not go back to work until there is a bicycle bill of rights passed into law. Seeing this on TV night after night is disgusting, it's getting to be rediculous.
Did anyone think to ask if the bike consented? Was he listening to Queen? Does this mean that the use of any ... ahem... 'aid' will get you registered?

I was thinking about that myself. But then I wondered what is the legal age of consent of a bicycle? For instance, they say a year for a human is about equivalent to seven for a dog except the first year which they say is nine. So would you judge a bicycle's age of concent in calendar years or bicycle years and when does that age of consent apply? I'll bet the laws are very vague on that. I ask also because I have been thinking about entering my two dogs as candidates for President and Vice President of the United States next year. One is arould 6 1/2, the other around 5 1/2. If we go by dog years, both meet the Constitutional requirement of being 35 years old. Where does it say in the Constitution that a dog can't run for President.
You know, this is really a sad story and we shouldn't make light of it. Worse than the hidden economy of trafficking in stolen bicycles is the heartbreaking simulated sexual abuse many hapless tricycles suffer at the hands of these trans species sex perverts. I saw one poor little girl's tricycle snatched away when she just turned around for only a second, who knows what monstrous fate befell its little frame, those tiny little wheels, those thin little handle bars held together by nothing more than a few nuts and bolts. Pathetic what our world has come to.
