Eddie! I managed to send my photo in finally! So, even if I never see it on your galleries, I have contributed! Honest!

Hope that you are enjoying your break.

Alas that Diana et al didn't pay attention!

Hmmmm. Mr Cool, the chic-est snowman in the world, makes it in at December 1st of the Snapalendar ... yet Daisy, the coolest cat in christendom, doesn't even manage to make the late twenties of galleries?

    I believe you!

Still trawling patiently ... and I bet you're all heartily sick of the whole Window On Your World concept by now.

Next time Eddie has a super-smart sounding idea for expanding the bloggishness of PM, you have a wee conflab with the froggers before agreeing to anything.

Especially with Jonnie, who is now in sole charge of the 'unofficial' archive of the highlights of the PMN blog!

Tee hee. Je ne regrette rien......

    Fifi ;o)

    Hi Fifi

Mine hasn't appeared yet either. And it was submitted by 5.18 on The Great Day itself. Whatever methodology is being employed, it doesn't appear to be on the basis of 'first come first served'. Mine was emailed in - How did you send yours? Methinks the mobile phones won. If I'd known, I'd have done it that way - But we were reassured that it didn't matter how it was done.

I think you're right. Next time somebody (but we don't know that it was Eddie, let's face it!) has a bright idea involving technology, perhaps they'd better think it through v. carefully.

On the other hand, remembering how long I had to wait for my John Humphrys' egg cup, the low tech stuff can be equally problematic!

Any way, to give everybody their due, I think the PM team are doing as much as they are able, with the resources available to them, to get the job done.

Dear Auntie Beeb, how we do love you!

    Ouch Graeme,

I think health and safety would have something to say about the mains lead of that washing machine !!

Intriguing Graeme, so does it wash 1 sock at a time then?

WHISHT - great strapline! Is it your first? I hope you see it, cos I missed mine.....

Still no photo on WoyW yet, perhaps it's been moderated?

Btw, I know I've asked this before, so perhaps missed the answer - or perhaps it was deemed too bl**ding obvious, but how does one view the galleries in their entirety, 1 to 29 (should one have the odd couple of days to spare, that is)? Surely it's too clunky to have to trawl through the Blog and click on the links wherever they be scattered?

Well, they're in smaller galleries because to put them all in one would break the internet, apparently. The pictures which have appeared most recently are all texts, (I think I'm right in saying) and early next week it's my fervent hope that there will be easily accessible links to all the galleries via one column on the blog.

    Valery P & Fifi,

I don't think my WOYW photo has appeared yet; it was emailed on the 6th. December. I haven't examined every picture so far (I'm waiting for the CD), and since mine was yet another "Through the laminated window" view, I suppose it might have been posted without my noticing.

Remember - the postcards (well, most of them) did appear fairly quickly.

Eddie's clearly been talking to an IT specialist!

BTW, Eddie, do you get your own curly wig for your legal course? And robes? I think you'd look rather good in them, you know, with your serious face and twinkling eyes. Eat your heart out, Judge Deed!

Big Sis - I sent mine from my phone, eventually. So that theory doesn't work does it?

Oh - thanks Eddie, your recent posting anwered my question. I'm humbled. Btw, while I have your attention, is your No 1 New Year's Resolution going to be to say hello to Aperitif? We think it should be.

ValP - No clearly not. But my comment was based on one made early on by, I think, Lissa in that the mobile phone ones appear to be the quickest to download.

Do you think our pics will be up soon? We can commiserate meanwhile.

Since Daisy The Coolest Cat in Christendom (other doms are available) vommed up on the kitchen floor this morning, I am less enthusiastic about her forthcoming appearance on the gallery.

Poor old thing. Spark-out on her back on the burst wicker chair behind me in the office. Snoring gently, as befits a dignified old lady of fourteen.

Come to think of it, there is already a picture of Eddie with a wig - I saw it earlier, and it featured 2 others, Carolyn and maybe Nigel? I can't remember what he looks like. Did have a picture on the PM web site olim.

You've just about described my Christmas - except I have no intention of appearing on national radio.
What with all the missing hair due to test match
Is there a word to describe the glee and vigorously immodest Australian response to the fact they have been ever so lucky our brave lads have been bit off colour. I blame G. Boycott. I think he ought to.

Vyle Hernia (16) : Your effortless use of Latin is impressive. I actually understood the final four-letter word before I noticed it wasn't English!

Back on the Beach, by the way, the red-and-white overdressed figure hanging rather shiftily around the Nick Clarke Memorial Bar is me in my Santa suit.

Waiting for Whisht to get down there and put on his Womble costume.

Would he hurry more if I offered to change into the creative invention of our bass player: a fishnet nun's outfit?

    Hey Val and Fifi!!!

I just saw my strapline!! and its now 23.42 so I got no chance to tell anyone 'outside' of the froggers to see my [ahem] "fame"....

    ah well.

btw, Fifi, i..... well, although i will probably regret mentioning wombles when i'm in the dock and pleading good character (..."me'lud, we wish to bring before the court the defendant's prediliction for 70's animation characaters...") I think it was meant to be the proposed SO wearing the costume....

all I can say is thank god I never actually mentioned my favourite show whch was Chorlton and the Wheelies. god that was awsome for soooooo many reasons!

but trying to defend "'ello little old lady" would be just too much I reckon!!

Fifi - thank you. It was all that talk about ex-modern languages that made me use 'olim', plus the relentless pursuit of brevity.

Whisht - congratulations on getting your strapline up in lights beyond midnight without it turning into a pumpkin.

Today I hope to collect my Christmas beach prints - and perhaps shock the froggers.
